As part of the MID program, students are required to attend one week in residency each year at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Residency week is an intensive learning experience designed to teach you the latest in distribution and to help you form successful working relationships with your fellow students and the Industrial Distribution faculty. Students will earn 3 credit hours for each week in residence.
During the week, you will meet your professors and fellow students; learn how to access your courses; discover Texas A&M University’s rich heritage; interact with guest lecturers; and discuss the latest trends and research in industry. It is an intense week full of case studies, lectures, discussions and classroom activity. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to access your online courses and become familiar with the online course environment before you head out to cyberspace. There are also some fun networking activities as well as lessons on Texas A&M History and Aggie Traditions. Residency Week for 2013 is August 5-9, 2013.
