Dr. Daniel Jornada is a Research Assistant Professor with the T.J. Read Center for Distribution Research and Education. Through the Global Supply Chain Lab, Dr. Jornada has led industry-funded applied research projects in the domains of supply chain and distribution optimization, advanced data and analytics modeling, and optimization of large-scale complex systems. Dr. Jornada focuses on data-driven approaches to improve decision making and business efficiencies. He has over 10 years of working experience in business analytics, supply chain, inventory and industrial engineering. Dr. Jornada holds a Ph.D.in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M and is a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) by the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science (INFORMS). Dr. Jornada taught executive education programs for companies in the US, Mexico, El Salvador, Panama and Brazil.
