Engineering students wishing to enroll in another institution concurrently with enrollment at Texas A&M must receive prior witten approval of their departmental advisor,International student Services(if needed),and academic dean.This rule applies to correspondence courses as well as work at community and/or junior colleges.

        The sum of hours taken at Texas A&M and concurrently at another institution must not exceed the maximum         allowable number of hours for the semester at Texas A&M.dean's aproval is contingent on departmental policy
        and specific departmental approval.International students will also require approval of office of International
        Student Services.

Procedure:Fill out the application below,obtain departmental approval from your departmental advisor and bring this form to Room 204 Zachary.After obtaining Dean's approval,be sure to keep a copy for your records.

NOTE:TEXAS A&M REQUIRES THAT A MINMUM OF 36 SEMESTER HOURS OF 300 AND/OR 400 LEVEL COURSE WORK BE SUCCESSFULY COMPLETED IN RESIDENCE AT TEXAS A&M TO OBTAIN A BACCALAUREATE DEGREE.A MINIMUM OF 12 OF THESE 36 SEMESTER HOURS MUST BE IN THE MAJOR.
